Privacy Policy
Last revised: June 12, 2026
A lot of retreat research happens quietly, late, when you are tired and hoping something might help. That reading ought to stay yours. I built Alchemy Wellness Resorts (“we”, “us”) to gather the smallest amount of information it possibly can, and this page walks through what that means in plain terms.
What this policy covers
It applies to alchemywellnessresorts.com and nothing else. It explains what can happen when you open an article, follow a link, or write to me. The outside sites I link to, retreats among them, are not covered here; each keeps a policy of its own.
What I actually collect
Very little, and nothing about your health unless you decide to send it:
- Your message. Write to me and I receive what you send, along with anything folded into it, such as your name and email address.
- The mechanics of serving pages. Delivering the site securely means my hosting and content delivery network handle the technical groundwork, things like your IP address and the browser you are using.
- Counts with no names attached. I may keep rough totals of which articles get read most, purely to see which writing is earning its keep.
What you should never send me
Please keep your health to yourself here. Do not email your medical history, your medication list, test or scan results, or the details of any condition or pregnancy. I cannot advise on any of it, I have no part in your care, and ordinary email is not a safe home for sensitive health information. If something of that kind reaches me anyway, it joins no record and is deleted the moment I have replied.
Why hold anything at all
Three reasons, and no fourth: to keep the site running and secure, to see which writing genuinely helps so I can do more of it, and to reply to the notes people send.
Tracking and ads
None of either. Your details are not for sale, no advertising profile carries your name, and nothing here follows you around the web. What little measuring I do goes through an analytics tool chosen for its restraint, which masks IP addresses and does not track you onward. You can clear or block cookies from your browser whenever you like.
Who else handles anything
Only the two services the site cannot run without: a content delivery network and the restrained analytics tool just mentioned. Beyond those, nothing personal about you moves anywhere unless the law leaves me no choice.
How long I keep it
A message stays only until your enquiry, and any sensible follow-up, is settled, and then it goes. The pooled analytics linger no longer than a general trend needs to stay legible.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may be able to ask to see what I hold, correct it, delete it, limit it, or object to a particular use. To act on any of that, write via the Contact page, and my reply will follow what the law requires.
Children
The site is meant for adult readers. I will not knowingly collect anything from someone below the age of valid consent in their own country.
Changes to this policy
This may change as the site grows. The “Last updated” date above shows the version in force, and staying with the site after a revision is how you accept the new wording. If a passage is unclear, the Contact page is open to you.
